In depth knowledge of electrical, instrumentation and control systems. Application of world-class engineering, design and maintenance of industrial power distribution and control systems. Multi-national experience having worked in Venezuela, Iran, and Saudi Arabia and with the Department of State conducting security audits worldwide.
I have a proven track record of improving electrical and control system reliability in industrial facilities. This blends a comprehensive understanding of reliability theory with capabilities to successfully implement and sustain a reliability culture.
Improving reliability is accomplished by applying engineering knowledge and specialists’ techniques to prevent or reduce the likelihood or frequency of failures, identifying and correcting the causes of failures when they do occur, and contingency planning to address issues before they arise. Implementing a reliability culture is done by training and championing reliability principles…relentlessly.
My training experience and capabilities include education and training necessary to instruct electrical safety courses centered on NFPA 70E. I also have experience with precommissioning and commissioning of new facilities and equipment. This includes writing procedures, supervising activities and analyzing data to ensure equipment will perform as designed.
